NeSpoon is an artist whose signature project, Harmony, transforms urban spaces through lace-inspired art. Working predominantly in white, she creates striking murals, ephemeral site-specific installations, daring stencil graffiti, and her own unique innovation: ceramic “urban jewelry.” Through her work, she explores universal codes of beauty and harmony, bridging cultures and connecting communities across the globe.
NeSpoon was born in 2009. Since then, her work has appeared in over 100 cities across 40 countries on five continents, both in public spaces and in museums and galleries. She creates at the intersection of urban art, painting, and traditional ceramics. Lace patterns have become her signature style. Her work is most easily approached as decorative art. All of her pieces inspired by lace-making are a search for the simplest codes of beauty and harmony. On another level, her work can be seen as a symbol of connection between people and cultures. Intertwining threads with ceramic objects or real lace serve as a powerful metaphor for social relationships. Her art also carries a distinct feminine aspect.
